Shipping
Transport by sea and the associated services on land have been an integral part of Baltic Lloyd's portfolio since it was founded. Many decades of experience as an agent for transportation by ship and as an agency representative for shipping companies and shippers guarantee a reliable package of know-how and flexibility in all aspects of the maritime and port industry.
Agency
We offer a 24/7 agency service for all Baltic Sea ports in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This includes the organization of the entire stay with the aim of a fast, smooth and successful handling of the port call in cooperation with all parties involved.
This includes berth reservations, all official procedures, the organization and monitoring of port handling, documentation and invoicing, as well as taking into account the wishes and requirements of the ship's crew in the event of crew changes with airport transfers or hotel accommodation, the organization of medical appointments, shopping or repairs. We are also happy to provide support with questions relating to customs clearance, cargo securing or marine and cargo survey in cooperation with our partners from all areas of the port industry.
Chartering
Arranging transportation at sea is a further component of our services in the shipping sector. We charter ships in cargo sizes of 500 – 10000 t DWCC with a wide variety of cargo types. Our focus is on the Baltic and North Sea trade lanes. We attach great importance to diligence and reliability in the negotiation between charterers and owners.
We see ourselves as a representative of all parties to the charter contract, always taking into account the requirements for ship space, cargo and the commercial interests of our customers. The types of cargo we handle are mainly dry bulk goods, such as forestry products, building materials or fertilizers, but also high-quality and unusual project cargoes and general cargoes in the heavy lift sector.
